Favour or Bomboniere Ideas

How often have I heard people say they have no idea what to use as a bomboniere or favour, to thank guests for attending their special event.  I know myself when I was getting married I didn't move outside the box at all, and gave candles.  It was easy and I suppose I was thinking about the pennies at the time too.

But do not dispair, there are so many different ideas out there, and they are creative and useful.  If I had my time over again I would definately choose something that my guests could use, not just have it sit there and collect dust.

There are a few ideas I thought I would share with you to help make your decision a little easier.

My favourites include:

  • a gorgeous mini pizza cutter, that says 'A slice of Love' - now who doesn't eat pizzas?
  • What about a Bride and Groom Frisbee?
  • I also like the metal bookmark with tassel that comes in a variety of shapes including; Butterfly, Love Heart and says the work 'Love'
  • I'm a foodie, so I just love this ideas - Heart shaped measuring spoons and ice cream scoop
  • What about a 'Love' Olive Oil Bottle?
  • The 'Meant To Bee' ceramic Honey pots with wooden dipper are just too cute
  • Let's not forget the 'Mr & Mrs' salt and pepper shakers
  • What about a heart shaped tea infuser?
  • Coloured paper hand fan
  • Butterfly placecard holder that can then be used as a photo stand
  • I also like the folding bag hanger/hook
  • Why not put your own touch to it and make a scented hand scrub and place it in decorative jars with a srew lid.  Inexpensive and I'm sure the ladies will love it.  Making handmade gift tags is another great way of putting your personal touch on things.

There are plenty more ideas for Wedding favours out there, just thought I would share a few.

What about for a Christening or special birthday, what could you give your guests?  What about these ideas?

  • Mini Bubblegum Dispenser
  • A Tin Pail (bucket), you could put some tissue paper, and small amount of polystyrene or florist green oasis in the pail and add a stripped lolly pop
  • You can purchase a cupcake holder, that comes with a clear lid that contains jelly beans and personalise it
  • An angel or cross bookmark with tassel
  •  Themed, glass coasters
  • Mini Watering Cans - dress them with ribbon and add something inside
  • A cross keyring
  • Personalised Hot Chocolate mix
  • Personalised notebooks
  • Teddy Bear photo stands
  • A lot of people are goig for Candy Buffet's for that special event, but another idea is to get up a 'mini' Candy Buffet on the guests table as a centrepiece.  It is cheaper to do it this way as you would only need a small selection of lollies as you would be restricted on space

If you like any of these ideas and can't seem to find them, just contact me and I will point you in the right direction.
